FANUC 0I series RS232 DNC processing can realize the online processing of the program. When the capacity of the part program is greater than the capacity of the CNC, the part program can be stored in the PC. Use the transmission cable to transfer the program while processing. When the part program is executed The program automatically disappears after being transferred to the CNC. Such as mold processing.
The specific operation method is as follows:
1. Important note
PCIN: SIEMENS data communication software
2. Hardware configuration
A) Desktop computer or notebook computer.
Specific configuration: IBM compatible machine above 486, memory above 32M, hard disk above 1G.
B) Communication cable (see Figure 3-2 for the specific connection of the cable)
3. Software configuration
SIEMENS-PCIN software version 4.32 or above.
4. Connection of communication lines
The two ends of the communication cable are respectively connected to the PC and CNC.
5. Set the communication protocol of PC PCIN software
A) The following menu appears after running the PCIN software:

B) Use the left and right cursor keys to select V24_INI, press Enter to confirm, and the following menu appears:
COM NUMBER 1 (Choose according to the communication port actually used by the PC)

2 STOP BITS (Stop bit 2 bits)
7 DATA BITS (7 data bits)

C) Use the up and down cursor keys to select the above menus, use the left and right cursor keys to select the options in each menu, press Enter to confirm after completing the settings according to the above requirements, and return to the initial menu after saving.
D) Select the SPECIAL menu, set DISPLAY ON, and return to the initial menu. If you do not set the DISPLAY option in the SPECIAL menu, you will not be able to see the dynamic display of the PC receiving or transmitting data on the PC screen.
6. Set the communication protocol of BEIJING FANUC 0i-Mate B CNC system
A) Start the machine tool and make sure that the machine tool is in a normal working state, and the CNC has no alarm.
B) Select MDI mode.
C) Select, [SYSTEM], [ALL I/O], [PRGRM] in turn, the following menu appears:

7. Data communication
The data communication function can only be used after the CNC and PC are set as above.
A) Select DNC method.
B) Turn the feedrate override switch to the 0% position.
C) Press the cycle start key.
D) On the PC side, select the DATA_OUT menu and press Enter to confirm.
e) Fill in the path and file name of the part program to be transferred in the FILENAME column, and then press Enter to confirm. The word “LSK” on the display screen of the CNC side will change to the word “INPUT”, and the PC side will dynamically display the transmission of the part program .
F) Gradually increase the feedrate override, and the machine tool runs according to the program requirements.
