After horizontal benchmarking with the size of the radiators used by the Jiefang Company and Liuzhou Automobile Company, it was determined that the factory’s high-horsepower engine has a small heat dissipation capacity, which is the main reason for the high water temperature of the 6DL high-horsepower engine in hot weather. Radiator improvement program The key to the improvement program is to increase the heat dissipation capacity of the radiator. In view of the above investigation and analysis and comparing the water tanks of Jiefang Company and Liuzhou Automobile, three schemes are proposed according to the actual production situation: (1) The water tank is directly heightened on the basis of the original copper water tank to achieve the purpose of directly increasing the heat dissipation area of ​​the water tank; ( 2) On the basis of the original water tank, the western transportation technology of the water tank is thickened, and a row of heat dissipation pipes is added to directly increase the heat dissipation area of ​​the water tank; compared with Jiefang Company and Liuqi Motor Company, the water tank is changed to an aluminum water tank, and the heat dissipation of the water tank is increased through structural adjustments area. The details are as follows: Increase the heat dissipation area of ​​the water tank by lengthening the core size of the radiator. Key points of Scheme 1: Increase the height of the radiator core and increase the total heat dissipation area by 17%. The advantage of this scheme is: directly increase the windward area and heat dissipation area of ​​the radiator, and the wind resistance will be reduced, which is very conducive to reducing the power loss of the engine fan and increasing the heat dissipation.

Under the same working conditions as the original radiator, the radiator can reduce the water temperature by about 5℃, and the heat dissipation effect is better. However, considering that the cabs of the various models of the factory are installed relatively low, the increased height of the radiator 130mm will cause the radiator to lengthen downward. After testing, when the vehicle is heavily loaded and shakes, the ground clearance at the bottom of the radiator is only 300mm, which will cause the vehicle’s passability to be low. Therefore, the plan is not a ** plan.
