Product design needs a strong entry point inside and outside, not a beautiful appearance drawing that everyone generally understands, or this appearance is just outside the trend of Futai, and there is no basis for any supporting point. Based on many years of experience in product design, we found that a large part of the product design is cut from the perspective of the enterprise. This is probably a trend in domestic commercial design.
The entry of product design is divided into three different perspectives: people, enterprises and society. These three comprehensively cover the entry angle of the design, and each angle covers a different entry point.
- First, look for the entry point, technology, market, brand, or a combination of multiple aspects from the perspective of the enterprise.
- Second, look for an entry point from a social perspective. Design will vary with cultural differences.
- Third, look for an entry point from the perspective of people, and design that truly starts from the needs of people.
In China, although product design is mostly looking for an entry point from the perspective of the enterprise, the entry point from the perspective of society and people can better meet the needs of people. Regardless of the point of entry, product design should be a responsibility to meet the needs of the enterprise, the needs of the market, and more importantly, the needs of the people.
